On October 17, 2026, Prof. Ning Yan participated as an invited panelist in the “Beyond Disciplines” Women in STEM Panel, organized by Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) at the University of Guelph.

The event brought together students and researchers from different STEM disciplines to share experiences, discuss career development, and explore the importance of mentorship and supporting women in science and engineering. Through panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and networking activities, participants had the opportunity to connect with women researchers and gain valuable insights into their academic and professional journeys.

We thank the WiSE organizing teams for their efforts in creating such a meaningful event and fostering a supportive community for the next generation of women in STEM. We are delighted to support initiatives that promote diversity, mentorship, and opportunities for women in science and engineering.
